Through generous gifts to our Annual Fund, financial aid at Aspen Academy is awarded on the basis of demonstrated need to students in Kindergarten-8th grade. This is determined by factors such as income, number of children, unusual medical expenses, taxes, assets, liabilities, and other tuition-based schools.
Aspen Academy utilizes the online service of Financial Aid for School Tuition (FAST) to process applications. FAST does not decide whether financial assistance will be given or how much to give; rather, FAST provides a need-based financial aid analysis service that includes a recommendation of what a family should reasonably contribute towards tuition.
All information from FAST is kept confidential. Results are reviewed by the Financial Aid Committee, which makes award determinations based on next year's financial aid budget. Recommendations from FAST serve as guidelines for financial aid decisions. Aid is limited to 50% of tuition.
