With over 15 years of facility management expertise—including five years specifically within a charter school environment—and the experience of running his own handyman business, Steve brings a wealth of practical knowledge to the team.

He is eager to join Aspen Academy, drawn by a deep alignment with the school’s mission, values, and the genuine "family" atmosphere fostered among students, staff, and parents. More than just a career move, Steve views this as a journey and looks forward to the new friendships he will build along the way.

Outside of work, Steve and his wife, Rachel, are embracing the empty-nest lifestyle. They are proud parents to two adult children, ages 25 and 27, and prioritize traveling whenever possible, often seeking out new scuba diving destinations. Closeness to family remains a priority; they frequently visit their daughter and son-in-law in Grand Junction and enjoy staying active through kayaking and e-bike excursions with friends and loved ones.
