Aspen Academy's Faculty & Staff

Shelby Chase is entering her third year at Aspen Academy and her sixth year in education. Originally from Imperial, California, Shelby began her teaching career in elementary classrooms in Lubbock, Texas before relocating to Colorado. In Lubbock, she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Texas Tech University. Wreck 'em Tech!!

Now serving as an The Associate Director of Early Larning and Curriculum on Aspen Academy's Early Learning Division Campus, Shelby is passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences for young children while supporting and empowering teachers to grow in their practice. She is excited to continue fostering a strong school community where children, families, and educators thrive together.

Outside of school, Shelby enjoys spending time outdoors on her paddle board, exploring local thrift stores, attending live music events, trying new restaurants, and relaxing at home with her fiancé and two cats, Benjamin and Calypso. She looks forward to another wonderful year growing alongside the Aspen Academy community.
