Other Information

Over the course of his career, Justin held a number of positions in the medical, technology, and education fields. After enlisting in the US Army, as a medic, and a deploying to Afghanistan in 2009, Justin returned to the States and worked in IT for St. Mary’s Academy (SMA). After spending 11 years with St. Mary’s Academy, Justin took time off to travel -- one of the most notable parts of the trip was to return to Jakarta Intercultural School in Indonesia, where he'd graduated 20 years prior.

During his studies in Human Learning, Justin worked as a Cognitive Coach and Academic Tutor with The Nectar Group, applying the concept of neuroplasticity to support students with cognitive impairments in regaining control of their brains.

Justin comes to Aspen Academy with an enthusiasm for developing caring, creative, and capable learners, who are ready to make their world a better place.
