Other Information

Courtney brings twelve years of teaching experience (eight of those at Aspen Academy) to our students. She loves teaching and sharing in the students' excitement and enthusiasm for learning. She believes Aspen is an amazing place to teach because of the incredible community of students, families, and faculty.

She grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan and attended Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Education with minors in Math, Science, and Creative Arts.

When she is not enthusiastically teaching in front of her students, she loves adventure. She enjoys skiing, snowboarding, kayaking, hiking, playing any sport, and trying new things. She likes to read, watch movies, and enjoys adventuring with her husband Chris, her son Finnegan, and their dog Gibson.
