Aspen Academy Year End Letter 2026
Kristina Scala

This was a year of real results — in the classroom, on the field, in our businesses, and in the relationships that make Aspen unlike any school you'll find.

Our students ran 19 businesses at the Entrepreneurs Expo, the most in our history, and generated our highest-ever revenue in Bear's Student Enterprises. They published their own video games. They launched service learning initiatives, donated 2,000 meals to the Food Bank of the Rockies, and raised funds for the Wild Animal Sanctuary.

A massive congratulations is in order for the newly selected BSE Executive Team!

Stepping into an executive role is a tremendous achievement. These individuals were selected based on a variety of crucial factors: standout interviews, performance in the LiFE Block, glowing feedback from teachers, input from this year’s outgoing team, and deep consultations with Aspen’s Academic Leadership team.

This year, our 5th graders took part in Young AmeriTowne for just the second year in Aspen Academy history, stepping into a fast-paced simulation of jobs, business, banking, and community life. Through this real-world experience, students had the chance to work with peers, make decisions, and see how an economy functions when everyone plays a role.
