Passing the Torch: Announcing the 2026–2027 BSE Executive Team

A massive congratulations is in order for the newly selected BSE Executive Team!

Stepping into an executive role is a tremendous achievement. These individuals were selected based on a variety of crucial factors: standout interviews, performance in the LiFE Block, glowing feedback from teachers, input from this year’s outgoing team, and deep consultations with Aspen’s Academic Leadership team.

Most importantly, they were chosen because of their character and the school's absolute belief that they will embrace Aspen’s four core values as they step up to lead BSE into the next school year.

A Historic First: The BSE Executive Mentorship Structure

Taking on these roles means a very busy, high-responsibility year ahead. To ensure the new leaders feel supported from day one, BSE is thrilled to introduce a brand-new initiative: a formal mentorship connection between this year's outgoing executives and the incoming team for the 2026–2027 school year. The school is incredibly grateful that the outgoing team has agreed to stay on as mentors next year to help pave the way for their successors.

A Legacy of Success

This year’s team has truly left an indelible mark on BSE. Because of their leadership, ownership, and commitment, BSE moved forward in massive ways. Just a few of their incredible achievements include:

  • Creating and implementing the Team Lead system.
  • Autonomously running their own departmental meetings each week.
  • Doubling profits compared to last year.
  • Instituting a brand-new division led by the Chief Culture Officer.

The hope is that this mentorship structure will give the incoming Executive Team a rock-solid foundation. The new executives are highly encouraged to reach out to their counterparts when the time is right to ask questions, learn from their triumphs and challenges, and use them as a vital resource as planning begins for next year.
