A New Look (and a Little More Peace of Mind) at West Campus

If you've driven past West Campus this summer, you've seen it. The grounds around our south-facing playground have been completely transformed.

New trees, shrubs, and native plantings now line the fence: young maples and aspens, ponderosa pines, junipers, and flowering shrubs, anchored by natural Colorado boulders. It looks like the foothills came to Orchard Road.

But this project is about more than beauty. The new landscaping adds a natural layer of privacy and screening around our youngest learners' play spaces, on top of the secure fencing already in place.

It's one more way we invest in both, a campus that feels safe and a campus kids love to look at.

And here's our favorite part: the work was designed and installed by Sugi Gardens, a landscape company owned by our own Aspen parent, Travis Applegate. When we say our community is built by our families, we mean it (sometimes with shovels). Come take a look during Jumpstart this August.
