Chuck Fischer and Karen Skadow lead the World Peace Game essentials class. Chuck Fischer first heard of the World Peace Game when listening to TED Radio. He knew it was perfect for Aspen Academy since it was a game where kids used their cooperation and leadership skills to successfully solve all the world's problems and create peace. Aspen Academy announces the appointment of Dana Kohls to the position of Interim Lower School Director for the 2017-18 academic year.
Since January, the 8th graders have developed a business idea, written business plans, created and sold products and pitched their ideas to a group of judges. After months of preparation they entered the Aspen Academy Shark Tank as their Capstone project. Here, they presented their business ideas and competed for first place to win seed money for their venture.
