Pre-Kindergarten

Starting at 4+ we are committed to equipping students with the skills, habits, attitudes and content needed to successfully develop and navigate an extraordinary and purposeful life. In Pre-K, we begin with social and emotional education fundamentals to support thriving lives for our students.

Lower School

Learn more about Kindergarten to 4th grade.

With a highly differentiated, individualized, and data driven approach, we are able to zone in on what each Kindergartener-4th grader uniquely needs with regard to their performance levels, personal interests, learning styles, and strengths. Students are held to high expectations and our core academic curriculum reflects a clear commitment to the essential building blocks of child development in language, mathematics, social studies, science, the arts, fitness, and character and leadership. 

Middle School

We support 5th-8th graders in our intentional approach to leadership development, building their strengths and awareness of those strengths to make the greatest impact in their home and community. Our academic program is challenging, integrated, and engaging. We promote learning not just in the classroom, but with real world experiences and project-based lessons. 

Essentials

Learn about our wide variety of Essential classes.

Our Essentials Program offers performance-based courses that continue to build leadership, confidence and pride for each student. We realize world language, performing arts, visual arts, technology and fitness, along with the academic content classes, create a space for students to grow and learn in all areas of their school life as well as discover their individual passions and gifts.

For more than 19 years, Aspen Academy has focused on real-world skills, including the nation's first integrated entrepreneurial development program. To date, we've helped launch more than 400 student-run businesses. Our students receive 90+ hours of leadership per student, per year and 85% of Aspen Academy students are in the top 10% of U.S. students in math and reading. Here, your child's curiosity and joy of discovery will be cultivated along with a love of learning in school and in life. We would love the opportunity to meet you.

    This year Aspen Academy is so happy to celebrate 11 Aspen Academy students who recently attended the STAMP (Students Taking Action and Making Progress) Conference, a remarkable event bringing middle school students from across the greater Denver area together to focus on fostering inclusion, leadership, and social change. This annual conference offers middle school students a unique opportunity to explore important issues in a safe and supportive environment while equipping them with the tools needed to build more inclusive and responsive communities.

    This week, as we begin Part 3 of The Anxious Generation, we explore Chapter 5: "The Four Basic Harms." In this pivotal chapter, Jonathan Haidt discusses the profound impacts that digital technologies—especially smartphones and social media—have on the mental health and development of children and adolescents.

    Navigating Adolescence: The Challenges of Puberty

    This week in our exploration of The Anxious Generation, we delve into Chapter 4: "Puberty and the Blocked Transition to Adulthood." This chapter explores the developmental challenges adolescents face as they navigate the complex journey through puberty in today's society.

    Creating S.P.A.C.E. Program coming to Aspen Academy

    Jess Cho and the Neuro-Affinity Group have organized a week-long initiative through Creating S.P.A.C.E., aimed at making these important conversations more accessible and comfortable. Join us on October 18th from 4:00-5:00 PM for a parent education night, and encourage your 3rd - 8th grade students to actively participate in the one-week program from October 21st - 25th during Leadership and Academies. Each day will focus on a core theme that embodies S.P.A.C.E.: Storytelling, Permission, Acceptance, Curiosity, and Education.
