For more than 19 years, Aspen Academy has focused on real-world skills, including the nation's first integrated entrepreneurial development program. To date, we've helped launch more than 400 student-run businesses. Our students receive 90+ hours of leadership per student, per year and 85% of Aspen Academy students are in the top 10% of U.S. students in math and reading. Something exciting is coming to Aspen Academy: we’re expanding our campus to support the needs of our community by adding a nature-based early childhood learning campus.
Our multicultural and multinational celebration will take you on a journey through the wonders of the world without ever leaving our school grounds. Here are some of the things you can expect: live multicultural performances, foods from different continents, cultural art displays, interactive experiences, and cultural storytelling.
This week, SILC students embarked on a service learning field trip to Rocky Mountain Assisted Living, an assisted living community located near Aspen Academy in Greenwood Village. Engaging with elderly residents—listening to their stories, creating crafts, playing games, and simply sharing in conversation—was a humbling reminder of the power of connection.
As we close the first semester, I want to express my gratitude for your partnership, trust, and support. This has been a year of growth and transition, and thanks to our students, teachers, administrators, and families, Aspen Academy continues to set the bar for academic excellence.
Last week, we explored the powerful concept of Habit 4: Think Win/Win, which emphasizes the importance of fostering cooperative relationships that benefit all involved. This week, I encourage you and your children to engage in activities that not only reinforce this habit but also make it a fun and integral part of your family dynamics.
