Aspen Youth Leadership Institute

Aspen Youth Leadership Institute has developed a comprehensive and sequenced leadership curriculum and program designed to help re-establish a culture of effective personal and community leadership in America's youth. It offers daily leadership classes that focus on the development of concepts and skills in the following categories:

  • Intra and Interpersonal Awareness

Since January, the 8th graders have developed a business idea, written business plans, created and sold products and pitched their ideas to a group of judges. After months of preparation they entered the Aspen Academy Shark Tank as their Capstone project. Here, they presented their business ideas and competed for first place to win seed money for their venture.

2nd place: Holly S. (Beads for Dad)

3rd place: Parker D. (Tuber)

Brady M. (The Basketball Mustache) and Grace Y. (Ballet Barre) also made it to the finals
