A group of parents got together and began discussing our frustrations and struggles to find an appropriate learning environment for our children. We were looking for a loving and challenging environment for bright children who love to learn. No labels… just a place that could meet our children’s academic needs while also ensuring that they become well-rounded individuals with good character, leadership skills, and a sense of service to our community. We wanted a place where our children would feel valued simply for who they are and not what they know.
Unable to find such a place, we decided to build it ourselves. That’s just what we set out to do. From these shared ideals, the seed for a new school was planted, and Aspen Academy was created.
Since its opening in September, 2005, Aspen Academy has emphatically redefined education as a wise and valuable investment for those who care about providing excellent education and developing of our nation’s future leaders. The school satisfies the need for a rigorous academic program that develops children intellectually, socially and physically to become future great citizens. The School boasts landmark accomplishments throughout its short history. Every positive on the record— academic achievements and innovations, distinguished faculty, outstanding students and benevolent families qualify the institution for the distinction of private support.
