Aspen Academy Root Group

The Root Group, Aspen Academy's parent leadership group, was formed in May, 2005. The Root Group's goal is to support the needs and efforts and to promote the cohesiveness of the Aspen Academy community of teaching staff, administration and students and their extended families. 

Aspen Academy Room Parents

The Root Group is blessed to be supported at the parent level by a brilliant group of Room Parents. Each grade is led by a Room Parent who in turn is supported by an Assistant Room Parent. Room Parents keep classroom parents informed of class activities, meetings and special needs. They also act as a liaison between classroom parents, teacher and school administration. Even more importantly, Room Parents are integral to building the class spirit, teacher support and family support that makes Aspen Academy a truly unique community of caring and compassionate families and staff.

Aspen Community Dinners 

Each month, the Root Group sponsors family dinner nights for an opportunity to dine with your extended Aspen family, including the families of our fun and fabulous teachers and administrators!  This is great opportunity to connect *outside* of the school with other Aspen families, while supporting our school's Root Group. Romano's graciously donates 20% of Aspen family purchases to our Root Group to go back to the school to promote cohesiveness within the Aspen Community through the support of administration, teaching staff, students, and their families.
