Enrichment Programs

Aspen Academy offers several enrichment opportunities, before, during, and after school.  including a full soccer program, on site, training throughout the school year, as well as independent music instruction.

Sign ups and specific program offerings will be available during trimester 1. 

A sample of our enrichment program offerings include the following:

• Art is Fun (Drawing and Pastels Course)
• Private Piano, Guitar, or Violin Lessons – Classes are held during the school day. Student will be pulled for 30 minute lesson one time per week.
• Soccer 
• Basketball
• Volleyball
• Zero Hour Fitness 
• Speed Camp

2nd grade Spelling Bee
Amy Rossiter's second grade class had their own in-class spelling bee. Congratulations to their first place speller, Donnie!

Odyssey of the Mind Team Finishes 10th in the World
Seven students from Aspen Academy traveled to Michigan State University to compete against the best teams from around the globe in the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals. In its first appearance ever, the team finished an impressive 10th place overall and had the compiled the highest score in the world in the “Style” category.

In addition to the teams Aspen Academy placed higher than in the United States, they also surpassed teams from Singapore, South Korea, Mexico and Canada. The team had the judges and audience members laughing throughout their eight minute skit which featured Captain Underpants, two pigs from the farm, a couple of bi-polar penguins, GW the shark, an Hawaiian Chief, two Hershey Kisses and the DJ that spun all of the music.

Aspen Academy’s 10th place finish was the highest of any Colorado team that performed among the 805 teams in all of the problems and divisions at World Finals.
